Calcalist’s annual Mind the Tech NY conference is set to kick off on a new date: March 4, 2024. The conference, originally postponed due to the events of October 7 and the subsequent war, will primarily focus on the new challenges confronting the Israeli high-tech industry, as well as the obstacles faced by the global high-tech industry, ranging from political instability to the impacts of the global recession. It also will give a closer look at how to harness the power of technology and artificial intelligence and work towards a better future for all.

Over the years, the Israeli technological ecosystem has thrived, establishing itself as a major player on the international technology stage, contributing to the development of innovative solutions across various fields. Renowned for its resilience, entrepreneurial spirit, and boldness, the Israeli tech ecosystem stands strong and proud, overcoming obstacles even in these complex times. This narrative underscores the story of the Israeli technology sector, showcasing its ability to quickly adapt to local and global changes, as seen during the pandemic, and recover and thrive after previous economic crises or conflicts in the ongoing regional conflict. At the Mind the Tech NY 2024 conference, the Israeli high-tech community will join its American counterpart for a unique event. The conference will center on local and global challenges, emphasizing the importance of a united global tech community standing alongside Israel in ethical leadership. It will highlight innovation as a central driver for economic growth in times of crisis, exploring the vast potential in the synergy between artificial intelligence and human reasoning. The joined cooperation will enable AEC’s, consultant, R&R (Repair and rectification) companies, MCST, HDB and other Façade QP’s and inspections –
A state of the art tool, robust, easy to use and affordable. The Periodic Facade Inspection (PFI) regime was introduced in 2020 and is set to take effect on 1 Jan 2022.
The regime aims to help building owners detect and address any facade deterioration in a timely manner thus ensuring public safety.
